We are a Kansas City, KS youth club basketball program. Our vision is to transform the lives of all girls in Wyandotte County by fostering positive female relationships, cultivating innovative academics, and advocating community service and engagement.

Our
Story
The KCK Lady Spartans Youth Empowerment Program is a female youth sports program in Kansas City, KS. In 2006, the program started in response to the low number of female athletes participating in basketball. As a result, we sought to impact the sport positively by improving the sport at both the middle and high school levels.
Since then, the program has transformed the lives of young girls through a community-based youth sports program, focusing on meeting athletes where they are. We have had the opportunity to be a bridge between players, their families, and the community by impacting health and wellness and empowering young women to experience playing sports.

Looking to Join A Team
LSYEP serves female athletes grades 1-10 and male athletes 1-4. All athletes are welcome to try out during our open evaluation days. Contact us for more information.
